The Angier Area Buddy Backpack program started in 2010 to ensure that children in need at Angier Elementary, Buies Creek Elementary, Lafayette Elementary, North Harnett Primary, and Northwest Harnett Elementary, would have food to eat on the weekends.

The mission of Angier Area Buddy Backpack, Inc. is to partner with local schools in the Angier, North Carolina area for the purpose of delivering bags filled with nutritious, non-perishable food for children in need.
Our main goal is to combat hunger, malnutrition, and disease among low-income children and children in need in primary and elementary public schools in the
